More Joyous will attempt to extend her winning streak even further when she contests the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes on Golden Slipper Day this Saturday April 2, 2011.
The More Than Ready mare has only six competitors to surpass when she takes to the turf in Race 3 at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday in an attempt to win her 14th race from just 18 starts.
More Joyous has had nothing but success in her racing career, and is on track to finish out her current preparation unbeaten.
Nash Rawiller, who has ridden More Joyous to victory in the majority of her race starts, believes that the talented mare should be taken worldwide.
“She is world class,” Rawiller said.
“I’d like to see her go overseas but I know (owner John Singleton) doesn’t want to.”
More Joyous is currently the $1.27 odds-on favourite at Luxbet for Saturday’s race.
More Joyous is tipped to win the $400,000 Queen Of The Turf Stakes, ahead of Set For Fame and Jersey Lily.
Peter Moody’s Set For Fame is tipped to finish one better in the 2011 Queen Of The Turf Stakes after placing third in the Listed First4 Stakes at Flemington on March 12, 2011.
Set For Fame has won five of her 16 career starts and while she is already a multiple Group winner, she will be looking for her first Group 1 win of her career in the 1500m Queen Of The Turf Stakes.
The Reset mare will jump from barrier six in Saturday’s race and will be ridden by jockey Luke Nolen.
Jersey Lily is tipped to finish third in our 2011 Queen Of The Turf Stakes tips.
The five-year-old Catbird mare finished second to Aloha last start in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic and will be in fine form for the 2011 Queen Of The Turf Stakes.
