2011 Kindergarten Stakes Nominations – Randwick Derby Day

April 5th, 2011

The Kindergarten Stakes is often a favourite with the crowd on Derby Day and the 2011 nominations look to ensure that once more the two-year-olds are the centre of attention as the day draws to a close.

There are 13 juveniles looking  to contest the event although one or two are dual nominators for Derby Day races.

Three trainers have two runners in the race which is worth $125,000 over an 1100m sprint.

David Payne probably has one of the best chances with Al’s Magic Miss and Queenian.

Gerald Ryan’s double includes Conroy’s Gap and Golden Slipper runner Hot Snitzel.

Anthony Cummings is looking for a much better Derby Day after a horror Golden Slipper Day at Rosehill and he’ll saddle up Smart Missile’s stable mate Houston Benefactor and Shadow West.

Hopefully the vast majority of nominators get to the gates on Saturday and create what will be a memorable end to a fantastic day of racing at Royal Randwick.

The final field will be posted  tomorrow with full form guides and tipping articles available later in the weeks o bookmark this page!
