Morphettville Racecourse will be a hub of action and excitement this Saturday April 9, 2011, with the Group 3 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes being run in Race 5.

The final field and barrier draw for the $115,000 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes has now been released to show that eleven two-year-olds have accepted for the race.

The 1400m SA Sires’ Produce Stakes final field includes John Key’s talented young filly Triple Asset, who is out to win her fourth straight race start.

The Nadeem filly has won both of her last group 3 starts, including the Breeders Stakes at Flemington and The Janz at Morphettville.

The two-year-old has won four of her seven race starts and has never finished outside the placings during her short career.

Triple Asset has drawn barrier two in the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes and will be ridden by jockey Lincoln Coffey.

Another member of the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes final field is Peter Moody’s Cute Emily, who remains unbeaten across her first two starts, including the $70,000 BMW Handicap at Caulfield on March 26, 2011.

The Choisir filly has accrued almost $50,000 in prize money over her past two wins and will be tackling Stakes level competition for the first time in the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes.

Peter Moody’s stable manager, Jeff O’Conner, is extremely pleased with Cute Emily’s campaign thus far.

“She’s exceeded our expectations this preparation,” O’Connor said.

O’Conner feels that Cute Emily has improved substantially since her first run.

“We took her to Stawell on debut where she won a weak one before coming to town and winning at Caulfield,” he said.

“We found the right race, it fell away a bit and she raced a lot better and truer than what she did the first time.”

Cute Emily has drawn the inside gate for the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes and will carry 54.5 kilograms.

Also included in the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes final field are Darren Weir’s Cash Bound and John Thompson’s Win For Wilson.
