AJC Sires Produce Stakes Form Guide – Randwick 09/04/2011

April 7th, 2011

The 2011 AJC Sires Produce Stakes has a field with plenty of familiar names and form lines many trainers would envy.

Only a single runner in the $500,000 Group 1 event is yet to win a race meaning 12 of the very best two-year-olds have been assembled.

Smart Missile has withdrawn from the race robbing it of the certain favourite but rest assured there will be no shortage of pace in the final 400m.

There are still two Golden Slipper runners backing up as well as the luckless Fast And Sexy which was scratched in the gates.

They will meet a horde of juveniles which just missed out on a start and are eager to prove their worth.

The 2011 AJC Sires Produce Stakes form guide is below with the full career stats on every runner.

Tips will be posted sometime during tomorrow so be sure to check back to find the winners and take a look at all the latest Luxbet.com odds as soon as they come to hand.

  • Trainer: Peter Snowden
  • Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy
  • Career Stats: 3s – 2w – 1p

Can’t say a bad word about this colt, as honest and as hard working as they come. A winning favourite his last two starts and he’ll be close to repeating that with a third.

  • Trainer: Kris Lees
  • Jockey: Nash Rawiller
  • Career Stats: 3s – 3w – 0p

Unbeaten from three and would have given the Golden Slipper a shake had he been nominated. It’s a red hot field but this is a red hot horse.

  • Trainer: Guy Walter
  • Jockey: Nathan Berry
  • Career Stats: 2s – 1w – 1p

Third in the Pago Pago in his second start after winning a Canterbury maiden. Blinkers on but will need to find at least three lengths.

#7 – King’s Pact (Barrier – 9) (56.5kgs)

  • Trainer: David Payne
  • Jockey: Corey Brown
  • Career Stats: 3s – 1w – 0p

Slow start to his career but broke through in his last run to grab a Kensington maiden. Can’t see him figuring in this race.

#8 – Elite Falls (Barrier – 5) (54.5kgs)

  • Trainer: John O’Shea
  • Jockey: Jim Cassidy
  • Career Stats: 6s – 2w – 3p
  • Last Start: 3rd at Rosehill

Tremendous effort in the Golden Slipper to go from last to third down the home strait. Gets a decent barrier here and if O’Shea has her at 100 percent she’ll be very hard to beat.

#9 – Pane In The Glass (Barrier – 12) (54.5kgs)

  • Trainer: John P Thompson
  • Jockey: Jim Byrne
  • Career Stats: 5s – 3w – 2p
  • Last Start: 2nd at Rosehill

Got beaten in the Magic Night Stakes and the Sweet Embrace stakes but wasn’t too far away in either. Needs to find an extra gear but she’s not without her chances.

#10 – Shared Reflections (Barrier – 11) (54.5kgs)

  • Trainer: Gai Waterhouse
  • Jockey: Damien Oliver
  • Career Stats: 4s – 2w – 1p
  • Last Start: 6th at Rosehill

Golden Slipper runner so deserves plenty of respect, she finished sixth in that race. Won the Sweet Embrace Stakes but has her widest career barrier.

#11 – Fast And Sexy (Barrier – 1) (54.5kgs)

  • Trainer: Chris Waller
  • Jockey: Glyn Schofield
  • Career Stats: 2s – 1w – 1p
  • Last Start: 3rd at Rosehill

Scratched from the Golden Slipper at the gates and Chris Waller is desperate to make amends. Third in the Reisling Stakes behind Satin Shoes and Elite Falls at their best so is certainly a good horse.

#12 – Disputes (Barrier – 10) (54.5kgs)

  • Trainer: Peter Snowden
  • Jockey: Joshua Parr
  • Career Stats: 3s – 0w – 2p
  • Last Start: 4th at Rosehill

Make no mistake that this horse will win races and she’ll be in the top half again here. Don’t think she can win this one though and may need another year or so to properly develop.
