2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes – Morphettville Betting & Form

April 8th, 2011

The $115,000 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes will fire into action tomorrow April 9, 2011, at Morphettville Racecourse and the betting markets for the race are focused on three horses.

Punters have been only happy to put their money on one of these three horses in the 11 horse SA Sires’ Produce Stakes field.

The current favourite is John Keys’ Triple Asset, who is paying $2.30 for the win at Luxbet.

Triple Asset, who won the Group 3 The Janz last start, has not once fallen outside the placings during her six-run preparation.

John Keys is incredibly impressed with how well the two-year-old filly has performed in only her second ever preparation.

“It’s been a big effort from the little girl to do what she’s done, covering the miles that she has and still to be at the top of her game,” Keys said.

“She’s a beauty this one, she’s so professional and has been since day one.”

The remainder of the money in the 2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes betting is coming for Cute Emily and Cash Bound.

Cute Emily, who is paying odds of $3.20 and Cash Bound, paying $5, are the only other two horses under $11 at Luxbet.

2011 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes Form

#1 Cash Bound

  • Career: 2-1-1-0
  • 3rd race this prep
  • Cash Bound will be running in only his third ever run here, however, he is not to be dismissed and put in a wonderful run last start  to win by almost a length.

#9 Triple Asset

  • Career: 7-4-2-1
  • 7th race this prep
  • Triple Asset has won her last three races, including two Group 3’s, and is in brilliant form. The talented filly appears to be near impossible to beat when she is in form and that she is.

#10 Cute Emily

  • Career: 2-2-0-0
  • 3rd race this prep
  • Unbeaten over her first two starts, Cute Emily has led throughout both to produce solid wins. She is stepping up to Group company for the first time but appears to be up to it.
