The 2012 Kensington Stakes Nominations & Weight have been released ahead of the final field announcement early tomorrow for the event to be held this Saturday at Flemington Racecourse.

All up there are 15 horses listed for the 1000m sprint and with 16 spots available each one can start if the trainer elects to.

The race will be run at listed level and there is a very interesting mix of horses at this stage.

In fact the weight discrepancy makes things particularly interesting and punters could have some work on their hands to find a winner should the final field remain large.

Bigelow is the top weight at 59kg along with Grand Duels which has been racing in tremendous form.

Just below them are a host of horses on 58kg including First command and then even more on 56kg with Galbraith and General Truce.

The interesting couple of runners though are the three year olds at the very bottom.

Decircles and Rifleman only have 52.5kg, something that could come into play in the closing stages.

The only horse not fitting the bill is Star Of Giselle, the sole runner on 54kg.
