The 2012 United Arab Emirates Stakes final field and barriers are now live with 10 horses accepted for the 1000m sprint this Saturday at Caulfield.

Also known as the WJ Adams Stakes the race will be run at Listed level and features some of the country’s most exciting sprinters.

Sure they might not be at the level of Black Caviar, but which horse is? Group 1 racing is certainly not out of the reach of a few of these.

The most obvious example is the top weight Bel Sprinter, Jason Warren’s boom flying that has only tasted defeat once when pipped on the line at start number five.

He was spelled after that and first up on Saturday he’ll be a big favourite and with good reason.

He made a name for himself down the Flemington straight but Warren believes he is even better around a bend.

Other’s to watch include Definitely Ready, the current leader in the Mazda 55 second challenge at Moonee Valley.

Unanimously is another game tryer with General Truce and Canali not without hope either.
