Samaready Set To Sizzle In 2012 HDF McNeil Stakes

August 27th, 2012

Samaready is due to continue her spring carnival campaign when she lines up for the 2012 HDF McNeil Stakes at Caulfield racecourse this Saturday September 1, 2012.

The star two-year-old from last season finished fourth in the Listed Quezette Stakes at Caulfield last start, despite being the betting favourite.

Samaready, who won the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes earlier this year, was beaten to the post by Elite Elle, Agueda, and Ephemera.

The More Than Ready filly has won four of her six race starts and has earned more than $1.23 million in prize money during her short career.

All Too Hard is also included in the 2012 HDF McNeil Stakes, despite also being nominated for the Group 3 Run To The Rose at Rosehill Racecourse and Group 2 Memsie Stakes this Saturday.

The three-year-old colt placed third in the San Domenico Stakes last start behind Snitzerland and Driefontein.

All Too Hard has won three of his five race starts and has earned more than $430,000 in prize money since beginning his career earlier this year.

Kabayan, Elite Elle and Psychic Mick are also included in the 2012 HDF McNeil Stakes nominations.
